Hmmm.... I hope we are not at 'Cross Purposes' here. Execution within Excel using VBA works - with that expression on both 'Cultures'. My issue occurs within Visual Studio / VB dotNet environment, where I am working on Excel Automation. In the application, I have bound in / included the libraries for the use of Excel (VBA) commands, these 'libraries' appear to be the Excel executables. The application is being developed in VisualStudio 2008 using dotNET (Framework 2.0). This problem has cropped up in the Laptop with German OS (WinXP) and Office 2007, VisualStudio is in English though. For this reason I have 'assumed' that the difference lies in the contents of the libraries (=.EXEs) the binding mechanisms and other dotNET supported functionality, appears to be the same, but since I am no expert in this technology, I may well be wrong Nonetheless, I shall redo my troubleshooting and checking to see if I have indeed managed to 'Shoot a Bock' ... haha (ein Bock geschossen) Thanks for your pointers, I will return with an update ... which may take a day or two.
